It was a special day for six seniors at Questar III’s Catskill Academy as they graduated in a ceremony held June 3.
Speaking to the graduates, Principal Andrew Pemrick gave several pieces of advice, and reminded each student that you don’t need to be perfect to be successful.
“There’s no such thing as perfect. I can sit here and tell you at my age, I am not perfect. I never was, but I continue to learn every day,” Pemrick said.
He also stressed the importance of hard work, character, and taking the initiative to reach your goals.
“Don’t sit back and let life come to you. Go get it. Create those opportunities and don’t be afraid. Go tackle this world which lies before you all.”
