Reaching new milestones

Tech Valley High's first graduating class

Tech Valley High School is all about education reform and creating a classroom that meets the needs of students and businesses.

Having graduated its first class in June 2011, the school is now focusing on a new chapter of its mission – sharing what it has learned.  Teachers and coaches from Tech Valley High actively train educators in several school districts across New York State and beyond on teaching 21st century skills and incorporating project-based learning into the school curriculum.

The success of TVHS’s class of 2011 is evidence that a relevant, rigorous academic program based on project-based learning and high use of technology can produce great results for students.

Twenty-six of the 28 graduates now attend college and the other two chose to start their career path in the military. Students were accepted by prestigious institutions such as Cornell, Wells and New York University, as well as a wide variety of public and private colleges & universities.

The school is a joint venture of Questar III and Capital Region BOCES. For more information, please visit http://www.techvalleyhigh.org/.
