Questar III’s Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (Related Services) service emphasizes language development, and organizational and study skills for deaf/hard of hearing students. Certified teachers of the deaf may provide instruction in the following areas as appropriate: auditory training, speech reading and sign language, as well as consultation to administrators, teachers and parents of deaf/hard of hearing students. This service is one-on-one with the student and teacher and runs September - June with an extended year service available.

Questar III BOCES helps school districts operate more efficiently and cost effectively by pooling their resources and sharing costs. BOCES services are created when two or more school districts have similar needs that can be met by sharing staff members, classroom/office space, equipment, time or expertise.
