Pupils Adjusting to the Community Environment (PACE)

Questar III’s Pupils Adjusting to the Community Environment (PACE), Academy Based, serves students with moderate to severe learning delays and intensive management needs. Functional skills and academics are taught in conjunction with New York State Standards and IEP goals. The program includes: behavior specialist consultation, psychologist support, social work support (1x30 group) and physical education or adaptive physical education, if appropriate, (3x40 group). It is a full school day, and an extended year is available. The PACE Academy Based program is six students per one instructor and one teaching assistant (6:1:1).

Pupils Adjusting to the Community Environment (PACE), District Based (6:1:2) (Elementary)

Questar III’s PACE program (District Based) serves students with moderate to severe learning delays and emotional/behavioral difficulties. Functional skills and academics are taught in conjunction with New York State Standards and IEP goals. PACE (District Based) includes: behavior specialist consultation, social work support (1x30 group), psychologist support, transition support where appropriate and physical education or adaptive physical education, if appropriate, (3x40 group). Note: An extended year program is an option. The PACE elementary program is six students per one teacher and two teaching assistants (6:1:2).

PACE (District Based) includes: behavior specialist consultation, social work support (1x30 group), psychologist support, transition support where appropriate and physical education or adaptive physical education, if appropriate, (3x40 group).
