Questar III’s Challenge with Career Studies program serves students with emotional and behavioral disabilities, ages 16-21. Students will divide their school day between the Challenge Program and a Career Studies program located at either the Columbia-Greene Educational Center or the Rensselaer Educational Center. Districts will be responsible for transporting students between programs. Note: The Career Studies classes are 12 students per 1 teacher (12:1). Career Studies programs are non-accredited at this time. Challenge Program classes are 8 students per 1 teacher and 2 teaching assistants (8:1:2).

Questar III BOCES helps school districts operate more efficiently and cost effectively by pooling their resources and sharing costs. BOCES services are created when two or more school districts have similar needs that can be met by sharing staff members, classroom/office space, equipment, time or expertise.
