Achieving Individual Milestones (AIM)

In Questar III’s Achieving Individual Milestones (AIM) program, instruction combines functional curriculum with community experiences, enabling students with multiple disabilities to learn adaptive living skills. All AIM classes are taught in public schools, enhancing opportunities for inclusion in regular classes and other school activities. Students may access state-of-the-art technology and communications equipment. Active parent involvement is encouraged through ongoing communication between staff and parents. AIM includes: adaptive physical education (3x40 group), social work support (1x30 group), and assistive technology support. Note: The AIM program is a full school day, and an extended year is available. The program is eight students per one teacher and two teaching assistants(8:1:2).
