Questar III BOCES helps school districts operate more efficiently and cost effectively by pooling their resources and sharing costs. BOCES services are created when two or more school districts have similar needs that can be met by sharing staff members, classroom/office space, equipment, time or expertise.
A majority of Questar III programs are instructional in nature. This includes special education and related services for students with disabilities, career and technical programs for high school students, literacy programs and employment training for adults and K-12 enrichment programs.

Questar III’s Alternative Learning Program (ALP), Half Day for Seniors Program provides high school seniors in danger of not completing high school that need four or less credits to earn a Regents diploma. Program offers small class size and support for students to earn a Regents diploma.
A district representative must be present at all intake meetings for students in this program.
