Questar III partners with various employers, colleges, labor unions, government and human service providers to prepare a 21st century workforce.
Consultant Committees
Questar III works with 180 local business leaders through its consultant advisory committees. These volunteers advise Questar III on curriculum, trends and technologies in their fields. This process allows the organization to be responsive to school, economic and workforce needs. More importantly, it helps to ensure that career and technical education (CTE) students have the knowledge and credentials needed for success in their chosen fields. Please contact Dennis DiDonato at 479-4953 or Dennis.DiDonato@questar.org for more information.
Work-Based Learning
CTE students participate in Work-Based Learning (WBL), or structured work-related learning experiences that include job shadowing, service learning and unpaid internships. Whether it’s replacing heating units at a local business or observing the police or sheriff’s department, students learn by working alongside professionals in the field.
